Anita Amini

Anita holds licenses in Esthetics and Nail Technology and has been practicing cosmetology for over fifteen years. A graduate of Cosmetology in Vancouver, her advanced studies include sessions in Paris (Rene Guinot), Dubai in the United Arab Republic (Youth Institute School). Her studies include Vancouver Community College and an Educational Instructor Diploma from Nail Systems International Canada. Anita owned and operated spa and beauty supply businesses and has served as head instructor in government accredited cosmetology colleges in Vancouver. Anita founded the Body Institute of Glamour by Anita in 2000 in order to provide the high quality, intensive training and practice that practioners require to succeed in cosmetology today.

Zahra Harji

Zahra has over 17 years experience as a cosmetologist, as a salon owner/operator and instructor. She brings her experience and training in Tanzania, Africa and Canada to her position of relief instructor. Her experience with business operations will be particularly helpful for our students.

Gabriella Szirony

Gabriella Zsirony has 34 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. A graduate of Derke of London, Gabriella has been teaching for 15 years in accredited collages in the lower mainland.

She feels that students need a solid foundation to build a professional career in the beauty industry. “Students need to be guided in an inspirational path to graduate with confidence and professionalism.”

Gabriella’s advanced studies include:
Cutting edge techniques, clipper cuts, artistic up dos, advanced colour applications, special effects colour, texture variations, chemical straightening and salon business.

She has worked and trained with many successful hair products such as
Redken, Wella, Goldwell, Matrix, Schwarzkop, Revlon and Joico.
Gabriella’s love for teaching is never ending. She enjoys sharing her many secrets of the trade with her students.
